Wanika's famous cafe, Relishes Cafe. They serve great coffee and food, and have a full breakfast here before starting a day trip.

Picnic on the glacier

Take the Aspiring Helicopters helicopter and enjoy the world's most beautiful scenery, then land on the Isobel Glacier and feel like you are standing on top of the world, enjoying an incredible champagne picnic in this environment, this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you will never forget.

Classic car museum

Even though I am not a car enthusiast, I am moved by these beautiful retro cars. The museum houses a classic car between 1910 and 1969, and even the only Dusenberg model J in the Southern Hemisphere.

Lone tree in Lake Wanaka

You should have seen this tree on many photographic images, but you really need to see it yourself.

Hiking Roys Peak

The total length is 11Km and it takes 5-6 hours to travel. Through the private ranch, when you reach the top of the mountain, you will see Mount Aspiring and Lake Wanaka. There is no doubt that this is a very popular attraction and photography point.

Lunch and beer at Cardrona Hotel

This historic building was built around 1863. It has a very welcoming restaurant and a beer garden outside. It is highly recommended to have a lunch or dinner here.

Treble Cone Ski Resort

You can rent a full set of equipment here, you can also take part in teaching classes or even private one-on-one teaching. The scenery here is simply fascinating, and when you reach the top, you will feel incredible!

Just beside the Cardrona Hotel, don't miss it. You can hang your own bra, or you can throw some coins into the donation box to help the breast cancer charity raise funds.

Helicopter landscape flight

New Zealand is the kind of country that appreciates beauty from any angle, but especially from the air. It is highly recommended to take part in a landscape flight from the Aspiring Helicopters helicopter company or helicopter ski (Heli-ski).

Dog sled

This experience will be hard to forget! Manage your dog team and ride on the snow. Here, Siberian or Alaskan husky dogs are used to pull sleds. These dogs are quick-responding and thick, and are ideal for sled dogs. After the sled is pulled, the sled dog will receive some steak as a reward, and the passengers will have the opportunity to feed them in water at this time. The dog sledding campaign lasted from early July to mid-August.

Winery Rippon Vineyard

There are several wineries in Wanaka, but if you can only go to one, choose Rippon, which has a beautiful view on the shores of Lake Wanaka. Sitting in the sun, buy a bottle of wine with a cheese platter, and enjoy the following scenery of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps.
